La TSA (Transportation Security Agency) tiene una cuenta de instagram en donde sube los artículos decomisados que se encuentran en los aeropuertos de los Estados Unidos. Las fotos son realmente sorprendentes.

1.- Granada escondida en Tenis

Most travelers stuff socks in their shoes. This Milwaukee (MKE) traveler chose inert grenades. Items such as these can lead to evacuations and delays while explosives professionals try to figure out what they are. Please don’t pack grenades.

2.- Fidget Spinner del Diablo

Satan’s fidget spinner was discovered in a carry-on bag at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). While normal #FidgetSpinners are permitted, this one is a weapon.

3.- Explosivos Energeticos

This guy is one can short of a six-pack. He removed a can and replaced it with fireworks and glued the box shut in an attempt to sneak fireworks on the plane. Intentionally concealing prohibited items can lead to arrest and hefty fines. Fireworks are prohibited altogether. This was discovered in a checked bag at the Louisville International Airport (SDF).

4.- Granadas de Humo

In addition to the live smoke grenades and inert practice grenade, what you’ve got here are 3 live ground burst simulators. Don’t think because these are simulators that they don’t pack a punch. They’re used to simulate battlefield noises. They start off with a loud scream and then BOOM! There a quite a few examples on YouTube if you’d like to see them in action. While great for military training, they’re not so safe on commercial aircraft. These were discovered in a soldier’s checked bag at Palm Springs (PSP). He says he didn’t know they were in his bag…

5.- Laptops Olvidadas

Missing something? These are all laptops that were left behind at Newark (EWR) checkpoints in November. When a laptop is left behind, it’s recorded in the lost and found log at the airport and stored in a secure location. If you leave a laptop (or anything else) behind, you can access a list of lost and found phone numbers for each airport at TSA.gov, or you can reach out to our AskTSA team via Twitter or Facebook Messenger. The most common way laptops are forgotten is when traveler’s stack a bin on top of the bin their laptop is in. Out of sight out of mind… If you haven’t already, tape a business card or a piece of paper with your name and contact info to the bottom of your laptop. This will allow us to attempt to contact you via a page or phone call before you board your flight. It will also allow us to contact you if you’ve already left. #TSATravelTips
